Manifesto of the United Freedom Party

 GUESTS FRIENDS OF THE MEDIA, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN. 

We welcome you all to this brief, highly anticipated and special ceremony as we launch our party as well as the unveiling of our flagbearer.

In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, while it continues to create many gaps for us, our commitment to fight for humanity continues to bridge the many gaps.

Such is the beauty of our gathering today as a people with a common goal under the umbrella of the UFP.

For a political party in her fledgling stages to make waves in the media space.

We leave the opposition parties as well as the ruling party (union congress) to wonder how our name and logo resonates with the ghanaian citizen. 

While we commend the founding members of our party who have been endowed with great thinking skills to have given us a befitting name for our party, 

Our party and her logo reminds ghanaians of the privileges and the blessings enjoyed by our country.

when our founding fathers chose the name United Freedom Party, they did so because we are a party devoid of entanglement from external sources. 

A party which is not under the influence of any forces but under the control of the ordinary Ghanaian. 

Members of our party, While that is so, our collective decision to champion the course and to achieve success as a country would be attained through unity.

The party symbol is a broom and an eagle. That is, broom connotes unity, oneness and togetherness and as the saying goes a single broom stick can be destroyed but when put together can never be destroyed. Therefore, as  We have gained freedom and have gained liberty as a country, it becomes imperative for us as a people to hold our freedom in higher esteem through unity.

 As we  focus on our goal in order to defeat our opponents, Our founders chose  eagle as our party symbol. A symbol which  exemplifies power, strength and courage.

Power as our party rules. Strength in the face of obstacles while courage as we continue to rise against the oppressors rule from the UNION CONGRESS.

As if it wasn't  enough. Our founders gave our party her colours.

White , Gold and black .

The white signifying purity, light, goodness, understanding, cleanliness, faith, humility, sincerity and perfection.

 And with no doubt a our country in the face of LGBTQI and  the many immoral conducts rising against her,  needs all these attributes to withstand them and  soar higher . 

Fellow UFP members, a country like our motherland ghana ought not be poor as  the ruling UNION CONGRESS continues to exploit her resources for their parochial interest. 

With the availability of gold in her soil she should become one of the richest countries on the surface of earth. 

The adoption of gold is a true reflection of our nations resources. The gold in our party colour represents extravagance, wealth, riches, and excess which reminds us of the hope given to us by God.

Finally, the last colour which is black represents strength, seriousness, power, and authority. Black as they say is a  formal, elegant, and prestigious color. 

The beauty of blacks read like a primer.

 These facts about the color made our founders choose it. As it befits our party and our representation

Fellow party members, before the emergence of our party, our country remained in a quandary of what the future looked like for her citizens.

The “United Freedom Party” is here to change the future of our country as we launch and unveil competent people to lead the party for our elections on march 15th.

As the motto of our party echoes  "unity we soar" our victory on Monday is inevitable.
