UFP- IN UNITY WE SOAR

The United Freedom Party (UFP) was formed by a group of young men and women who have the development of the nation at heart. They saw a nation endowed with almost all the natural resources any rich nation in the world today will boast of but of which the citizens do not benefit. They are poor and the country is underdeveloped.

These well-educated men and women of the UFP have a passion for the development of the nation, and want to rescue it. The party is full of highly skilled individuals from all parts of the country ready to put the economy back on track.

Among them are seasoned journalist, Public Relations experts, renowned lawyers, physicians and the likes.

The name UNITED FREEDOM PARTY as chosen by the leader is significant.  UNITED means that despite our differences and varied backgrounds, we are still able to close our ranks and rally behind our leader for the common good.

We agree with what is said at Ephesians 4:3 that we should “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace”, and we walk the talk.

FREEDOM signifies that we’re not in any bondage. As a free party, we want to use political power to bring true freedom to all Ghanaians. It is said in our democracy that the citizens are to enjoy some freedoms, but we can all attest to how the current government is curtailing even something as basic as Freedom of Speech and Expression. By attacking journalists and seeking to gag those perceived an being anti-government, the current party in power has
failed to protect our democracy. The UFP is committed to changing this.

So, like our national anthem says, we are willing to fight for “the course of Freedom and of Right” and “to resist Oppressors rule”.

All that we stand for has been summed up in our motto which reads, “IN UNITY WE SOAR”.
